Invitation to the Krakow part of the World Copernican Congress

In just two days, the World Copernican Congress will take place in Kraków.

During the Krakow part of the Congress, there will be an opportunity to participate in two sessions: the philosophical session and the economic session.

In Krakow, you will have the chance to listen to interesting lectures and engage in debates led by distinguished Polish and international experts in the field of philosophy (including Rev. Prof. Michał Heller, Prof. Stefano Gulizia, Prof. Ovanes Akopyan) and economics (including Prof. Marek Belka, Prof. Waltraud Schelkle, Prof. Sebastian Edwards).

The grand opening of the Krakow part of the World Copernican Congress will take place on May 24th at 10:00 AM at the Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University, located at 33 Krupnicza Street.

Wykład inauguracyjny zatytułowany "Nicolaus Copernicus' Theory of Relativity" (Teoria względności Mikołaja Kopernika) wygłosi ks. prof. Michał Heller.

The inaugural lecture titled "Nicolaus Copernicus' Theory of Relativity" will be delivered by Rev. Prof. Michał Heller.

The program for this day also includes two plenary sessions: "Revolution and Crisis in Science: Science Flowing from the Past and a Glimpse into the Future" and "The (Copernican) Revolution in Economics," as well as a lecture by Prof. Michel De Vroey titled "The ‘Empirical Turn in Economics,’ A Copernican Turn or a Return of the Pendulum?"
