The „School of Copernicus Friends” program, organized by the Center for Copernican Studies at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and Primary School No. 7 in Toruń, received dozens of birthday cards from all over Poland.
Sending cards with birthday wishes to Nicolaus Copernicus was one of the five mandatory tasks in the program. Schools that complete all the mandatory tasks will receive a „School of Copernicus Friends” certificate. Over 250 schools have signed up for the program.
The submitted cards can now be admired in a virtual gallery. In September, they will be presented at an exhibition accompanying the World Copernican Congress in Toruń.
